Miss Zukas, that antidote to the 30--something, drop-dead gorgous liberated female PI's with the incredibly messy lives--is back on the scene. Neatly and precisely as ever, she works her way to the bottom of some dark doings at the Bellehaven (Washington State)cultural center for Indian Affairs, ably---sort of--assisted by her flamboyant friend, Ruth. (Boy Cat Zukas is still with us as is Chief Wayne Gallant for those who have been following Miss Zukas' adventures.)
