This book is the first in a wonderful series of 5 books about Mackayla Lane. This first book sets up the series very well, and sure encourages you along to read the next and the next! It is written in the first person, which I loved. Mac is telling her own story, and I feel very connected to her. The character of Jericho Barrons is full of intrigue. The relationship that develops is certainly one that makes me want to keep reading.

This story is interesting, entertaining, and is very hard to put down for more than a few minutes. It is completely enjoyable.
