I think this is one of the best up-cycling books I have come across. I cannot understand why it has been given low reviews---even people that praised the ideas only gave it middling reviews! Not only does it have lovely projects to make, but the instructions are easy to follow on the majority of the projects (purses being the most difficult).
Why pay $10.00 for leg leg warmers/arm warmers, or $40.00 for a warm wool cap/hat when you can make from that old sweater you no longer wear? An advantage to working with felted wool is that it minimum stitching is required, and most of the sewing is for the trim, or embellishments.
