I liked this book better than the first book in this series (Dead Until Dark). It had quite a few humorous moments and the plot moved quickly. I liked it enough that I'm going to read the 3rd book in the series. Dang, I think it's sucked me in!
Sookie and Bill go to Dallas to help a nest of vampires there find one of their own that has been kidnapped. Sookie gets herself into some humorous scrapes, and stands up nicely to Eric. Eric was more likeable for me in this book than in the first book in the series. It was a quick fun read all in all.
