I found this book easy to read because of the short chapters, engaging because of the plot, and a page turner because of the various perspectives represented by each character. I really enjoy books where each chapter is in the point of view of different characters, and this book was well done. I found myself often disliking the mother, yet I could sometimes appreciate her goals when reading the flashbacks. It was an emotional read, and I was definitely bawling in the end.
