That book is such a wonderful classic about teenhood. My daughter read it in school and loved it. That book relates to many teenagers and fits in many situations in life. It does have smoking and refrences to drinking as well as a manslaughter but it is a classical story about friendship and teen life. S.E. Hinton does a great job at relating to other people and making the characters sound releastic. The outsiders is a must.
