Great read. Two delightful heroes [Demitri the demi-god and Leon the Cajun shifter] and a heroine [Val] with a built in 'evil twin'. The characters are great, the plot has lots of action and the setting is beautifully detailed. As far as sex scenes go, there is something for everyone [M/M and M/F/M and M/F].
3000 years ago, vengeance demon Val got a taste for blood. Demitri was sent by Aphrodite to seduce and capture her; instead he fell in love with her. Unhappily recognizing how dangerous she was, he gave her to Aphrodite in hopes the demon could be destroyed. It didn't work and she is to be destroyed. Demetri still loves her and Leon has fallen for her as well. They have two weeks to help her save herself - or all three will bear the consequences [and with the Greek pantheon, that could mean a very long and lingering death indeed.]
Demitri was first introduced in Mortal Temptations and other than occasional mentions of his friends [Nico and Andreas] getting married there is little overlap - which is a long way of saying the order doesn't seem to matter much in this series [at least so far!]
Mortal series:
Mortal Temptations
Mortal Seductions
