In the first Drake Sisters book, the eldest daughter, Sarah finds her true love. There is a prophecy that all the sisters are destined to fall in love and get married and the youngest sister will have seven daughters. This is the story of Kate, the second oldest sister. She is a mild-mannered writer. Matt Granite has been in love with Kate Drake since the first time he met her. The romance between Kate and Matt is set against the backdrop of an evil entity that manifests itself in a dangerous fog. The fog threatens the whole town and seems intent on destroying everything having anything to do with Christmas. It is up to the Drake sisters to figure out the mystery of the evil and destroy it to save the town.
