Overall, it was a good read and the story kept me interested all the way to the end. I would definitely recommend it.
That said, the pacing diminishes as the trial gets underway; however, the surprising plot twists outweigh some of the slow, disappointingly blatant foreshadowing. At the end, I found I didn't care much about the fate of any of the main characters and I was disappointed to have been emotionally invested in some of the minor characters who turned out to be overdeveloped at the start given their lack of importance to the climax.
