This book was okay and I kind of liked the fact that it's not exactly a happily ever after ending. You have to be able to accept really silly/ridiculous plot lines and unresolved issues to enjoy this book.

I do have to agree that Rowe's writing was confusing. It's almost like she was trying to do too much or she was trying to be too fancy. She doesn't give a lot of background on anything so you just have to assume and do some guesswork.

The characters were slightly hallow but I don't really mind that much. They were not exactly complicated and it wasn't exactly a deep book.

I appreciate the humor. In fact, I don't think I would have liked the book without it. I'm curious to know what will happen to the other three warriors, especially Christian. I really can't stand Mari and Angelica was almost too delusional. I would have liked for Rowe to pull Angelica back a little bit. Combined with Angelica lusting after her ex and all that doctrine she spouts made her really annoying towards the end.

It was a decent book. Not enough for me to love it but enough for me to be curious to read the other ones in the series when it comes out.
