As with the other "Between the Numbers" books, this book brought back Diesel and the Unmentionables, but instead of Christmas, Valentine's Day or St. Patrick's day, we got a taste of fall in Trenton, New Jersey.
What I liked best about this book, was that it is a full length novel, and Ranger and Morelli have more active roles in this book than in the previous "BTN" books, plus we got a lot more face time with Diesel.
If you have liked the other "BTN" books you will really enjoy this one as well. If you haven't read the others, I strongly suggest you read them first. They are, in order, 'Visions of Sugar Plums', 'Plum Lovin' and 'Plum Lucky'. They will help you to really understand the world of Unmentionables and Diesel.
As per usual, there were plenty of stun gun accidents, cars being destroyed, things blowing up, Lulu shooting, Grandma Mozur, funerals, the Buick, and things just generally going wonky wherever Stephanie happens to be. In other words, typical Stephanie Plum chaos insues.
