Great book for those looking to consume less, waste less, and in general get more out of what you already have. It's not a book on how to be cheap, but on how to be smart with what you have and be self-sufficient in maintaining your assets - house, car, etc., in order to save down the road. It includes recipes to help use up veggie garden extras, as well as instructions for things such as properly maintaining your car on your own to avoid expensive repairs down the road. Originally, I thought I'd be browsing this book then passing it on, but there are too many useful tips and tricks in here, especially for those simple home and car maintenance items I want to be able to do by myself! It's a keeper!
