Michael Crichton's Disclosure is a modern computer industry story of intrigue and deception. Tom Sanders is a computer engineer with DigiCom, a multinational software design corporation based in Seattle. Tom, an old timer with over ten years at DigiCom, is preparing to take on a promotion to head the division of Advanced Products. Much to his dismay he finds out that an old fling of his, Meredith Johnson will be given the office instead in the name of diversity.
Tom is crushed but vows to be a good trooper and work hard for the benefit of the company. Soon he uncovers information that is troubling and Meredith hits on him for "old time sake". His position is in jeopardy and he blows the whistle on Meredith. No one believes his story as she counters than he has assaulted her. Tom is forced into a battle for his job and his reputation. The action moves fast as the suspense builds to a satisfying conclusion.
