I like this book from the opening sentence of the introduction.

Infatuation is a powerful thing. It has the power to make your mind, body, and heart soar. Then, faster than you can say your ex-boyfriends name, it can drop you leaving you sick to your stomach.

Now what girl hasnt experienced the roller coaster ride of infatuation. Yet she goes on to describe something far better.

There is something more powerfulrevolutionary love. Love that is perfect, unconditional, stable. Love that is not based on what you did for it yesterday or what you can do for it in the future. This love forgives and forgets the past while promising an amazing future. This love is Jesus.

I also like that Lynn points girls to the real book that makes the most difference in their life-Gods word. Through short one page devotionals that are numbered rather than dated, which focus on topics todays teens can easily relate, girls can start their day off focused on scripture and how it comes to life in their daily life. Even the most busiest teen can easily incorporate the daily readings into their hectic schedule.
