Norman Torkelson a career con man chanrged with strangling to death his latest mark at first seems guilty. No doubt about it. He clearly murdered the dumpy, sour 50 something bar-owner who had fallen deeply in love with him. But Lee White, his criminal lawer, starts to wonder if her client is not merely covering for the real killer and in doing so, performing the first selfless act of his life.
