Melissa's business is booming, her relationship with the handsome Jonathan couldn't be better, her life is practically complete. Until a few things happen in quick succession that make her rethink her life so far. Jonathan has been called back to New York to complete some business and will be gone for at least a month, and her flatmate Nelson is having the flat completely remodeled and is going on a sailing trip for a month as well.
Fortunately Jonathan invites her to go with him to New York. Once there Melissa realizes that something isn't quite on the level. Jonathan is working nonstop and his ex-wife Cindy seems to keep popping up in conversation more than a proper ex should. That, and she has been roped into babysitting an up and coming film star because of his bad attitude problem, and the agency at home has been left in the no-so-capable hands of her older sister. Mel has a lot to take care of in a very short time and unfortunately Jonathan is not helping the situation...
I liked this sequel to "The Little Lady Agency." It lacked a little of the spark that the original had, but overall it held my attention and I found it to be charming and witty. I did miss Melissa running around London pretending to be "Honey" but I liked the love story that evolved between her and Jonathan too. I can't wait to read the next installment and find out how the story ends.
