I liked this book more than the last few. It did have a few areas that dragged, but I would have never guessed the surprise ending!

One personal pet peeve: does it bother anyone else that the publisher never seems to provide the illustrator with a brief, descriptive phrase from the book? The cover of this book is beautiful, but as someone who loves art and books, it bothered me to read numerous times in the book that Maggie's cast was bright yellow and in the very forefront of the illustration is the cast in lavender or light purple!
