I deducted a 1/2 star from what was a 4* story, because one of my least favorite phrases was used twice in this book. "So had Josh and Ty, both of whom had called him with the news like two little girls..." and "Josh had bought the past four meals in a row, which he'd bitched about like a little girl..." "Like a girl," has almost always been negative and condescending towards the female gender. I inwardly cringe everything I read this phrase.
Back to the story. Ranger Hot Buns and Amy. Both had some baggage that they had to overcome. Nice journey. I liked Riley and her role in the book as well. Great lesson that the past is past, you learn, and move on! On to the future!
Next stop Grace's story!
