Description sounded interesting, and I enjoy a good mother-daughter story. I miss my mom every day (she passed away 14 years ago from cancer and the hurt is still in my heart) so I was interested to read about the relationship between Kelly and her mother, as well as the dynamics of a young nanny (Kelly) taking care of kids who lost their mother to cancer. All in all, it was a good read, not a GREAT read. Some funny lines, but mostly anticipation of "When's it going to get better?" A little disjointed toward the end, almost as though author was trying to hurry and meet a deadline. Perhaps her NY Best Seller, The Middle Place, is better.
