WORST. BOOK. EVER.
Seriously--Joan Swan needs to stick with being a scientific, analytical doctor--because she doesn't have a creative writer's bone in her body!
The hero, Teague Creek, is barely likeable--if you enjoy ex-cons escaping from San Quentin, one of the scariest prisons in the world.
The heroine, Alyssa Foster, is SO annoying, irritating, obnoxious, frustrating--she never knew when to SHUT UP. I wanted to beat her myself, and throw her out of a moving vehicle on the freeway.
Mostly though, this book is just DUMB. IMPOSSIBLE plot--even if you involved vampires & werewolves (of which there are none)--this plot couldn't happen. ZERO romance--"romantic suspense" my arse! Suspense, sure--sex, eventually--romance, nada.
I'd give this book zero stars if I could. Don't bother waiting for it on PBS--even free this book isn't worth it.
