I have thoroughly enjoyed this series and Pushing Up Bluebonnets was no exception. I love the research aspect of it and Abby is very likable and gutsy without being over the top. Liked the new twist on the adoption investigation.
I had 2 problems with this book - The first was Abby's use of slang. I live in the South and Abby and I are supposed to be about the same age and I found her use of "country" expressions a bit silly and out of character. The second problem is I'm now caught up with this series and I haven't found a release date for the next one. I don't like her other series that much so I really hope this isn't it!
