This is one of those novels that gets better every time you re-read it. The world is dense, the backstory intense, and the future uncertain for Jame, who is a thief, an outcast, robbed of her memory, educated in evil, gifted with dangerous, destructive magic, and just possibly the long-awaited savior of her people.
