Many of you know that I am not a big fan of the Amish genre. I prefer a good mystery or a historical novel that brings history to life. But, I have read a series where Leslie Gould co-authors with Mindy Starnes Clark so I was ready to give another try at an Amish book. Needless to say, I found this one interesting enough to finish, and actually WANT to finish!! Now I just have to go back and read the others from my library:)

This is the fourth book in the Courtships of Lancaster County series and was a little confusing to come in this far ahead. But I quickly got my characters straight and enjoyed this one from front to back. Beatrice is the main female character, who is the sister of Molly, I believe from a previous book called Minding Molly. There are several other characters who seem to be from this series as well. The guy that Bea has such a hard time with I personally did too. He almost seemed childish at times. But I also understand most young adult men may not be all too mature anyways:) Bea I went back and forth on. She is very shy and unsure of herself at times. I love how she writes in her journal and reads books! It is funny how shy she is around others but when she gets around Ben the two of them fight like crazy! I also enjoyed how she is with the babies. There is sad times and yet overall a joyous gist to this book. Really liked it!!

I received a copy of this book in exchange of an honest review. All thoughts are 100% mine.
