I am sided on this book. On one hand, I'm definitely sympathetic to what it must feel like to lose your spouse at such a young age. I can't imagine how it feels so my heart goes out to the author, but on the other hand, it took a bit of force for me to finish his book. I felt like it reached a point where it was a bit repetitive. The author missed his wife. He missed the times they had. He wanted to see all the places they had been together before she died. He wants for his daughter to experience all the things that his wife is missing so that she will hopefully get a glimpse of her mother's memory. I get all of that, but I got tired of reading about it after a bit. I finally finished the book out of curiosity and I wish him the best for him and his daughter, but I think I was hoping for more of what happens with his daughter as she gets older and how he is managing after some more years pass by so maybe he will write a sequel eventually as she gets older.
