Succubus Jackie Brighton is fighting with both her lovers - the angel and the vampire. So when she finds out she's cursed and likely to die a horrible death, she grabs her BFF Remy and heads off the New Orleans to visit a voodoo succubus for help. Porn star Remy uses the road trip to promote her newest movie with stops at adult shops as they cross the country. It seems like every where they go, someone is trying to kill Jackie.
I wasn't thrilled with the first book but since I bought the first two at the same time, figured I'd give this one a try. I don't know what it is about Jackie that irks me but this is it for me, I won't continue the series. I'm just not into gratuitous sex and all the sex just gets boring. There really needs to be more to the storyline than getting laid. This book has it's funny moments but I found it more annoying than enjoyable. I enjoyed Mae, the nasty demon and really thought something was off with Luc. I think there is potential to develop a really great story with demons, angels, vampires, voodoo queens, etc but it just doesn't seem to be heading in the right direction.
