Given all the positive reviews and long waiting list to acquire book, I was expecting a good book. IT IS AWFUL!! The characters are tedious and the story is tedious. It takes forever for anything other than banal conversations in the characters mind to develop and then is bland and boring reading. I read the first 41 pages very dutifully and then started reading the first sentence or less per paragraph (sometimes page) looking for redeeming quality but found none. I am so sorry I wasted my time on this book and would NOT recommend it to anyone. Will not read any other of her books.
