Lt. Eve Dallas and Detective Delia Peabody are called to the exclusive Sarah Child Academy where History teacher Craig Foster was found dead. His drink that he brought from home was laced with ricin. Dallas and Peabody begin interviewing the school's staff and the two students who found Mr. Foster. They quickly learn that some of the staff are keeping secrets. Eve finds it hard to concentrate on the case because Roarke's ex-girlfriend is back and is making trouble.

Another excellent mystery in the Eve Dallas series. There were several suspects in this one. I kept changing my mind until I finally figured out whodunit.

I loved the relationship portion of this story. Roarke can't see that his ex is manipulating him, and Eve is livid. I loved that Summerset was in total agreement with Eve about the whole situation. My rating: 5 Stars.
