It's Desmond and Deirdre Doyle's 25th wedding anniversary party. Will their daughter who is struggling to become a nun be able to attend? How about their estranged son who lives with Uncle Vincent? Even Father Hurley has a guilty secret! Daughter Anna is drawing them all back together and hopefully they can finally heal their tarnished lives. Another good story from Maeve Binchy kept me interested until the very end. A wonderful family novel!
