This was a very good book, about serial killer Faryion Wardrip. The book covers all aspects of the case without being overly long on the trial (I don't like to feel like I'm reading a trial transcript.) Carlton Stowers is one of my favorite authors...in fact, his Careless Whispers (about the Lake Waco murders) is one of my all-time favorite books. But, I have to say that I liked Patricia Springer's book, Body Hunter, (which is also about Faryion Wardrip), better, because she gave a more descriptive picture of how the murders actually happened.
