It seems like this might be the last of the series based on direwolves and the knights. The next story will be about the Sidhe. Given that conclusion I have to say my review of this book is mixed.
Things I disliked:
The humor was timed poorly in the scenes. The nervous joking when things got roughed didn't work and just sounded really dumb.
There were actually too many sex scenes and they were placed in odd places. It seemed like Knight wrote the action scenes first and just shoved in a few sex scenes because that's what was expected of her.
So mostly I was disappointed in the writing.
Things I did like:
I did like how the plot enfolded. I liked that Miranda had such an active role in the destruction of Warlock. The end and the action scenes were pretty cool.
The book was okay. I did do some skim reading because some of it didn't keep my interest or just involved a lot of eye-rolling on my part. It was definitely time to end the series.
