I think the people who gave this book a bad review didn't understand it. This is a collection of famous writers telling about their WORST Christmas. It's not labeled anywhere on the book as humor. Some of the stories are funny-there were a couple that made me laugh out loud. But the majority of them aren't. They aren't supposed to be. Some of them are sad. That's the point. They're all pretty short. The stories written by non Christians were my favorite because they gave great insight for what the holiday season in America is like for someone who doesn't celebrate Christmas. Personally I'm not a big fan of Christmas so I really enjoyed this collection of stories because it shows I'm not the only one who feels the way I do.
