I really wanted to like this book but the characters are annoying so it was hard for me to rally for them. I ended up giving up half way through the book. It is very frustrating when it seems like everyone is so mean and manipulative towards the main character and the main character is so self-centered and irresponsible. In fact, I think every character in the book is self-centered and irresponsible. I know the book is supposed to be funny but it isn't. It just felt really apathetic.

I've read a few of Rowe's paranormal romances and think those are more fun.
