Sandford writes a nicely plotted fast-paced thriller with fun dialogue. You know what you're getting with his books because they are basically all the same. This is not meant to be disparaging because these are very readable books - I have compared them to potato chips in the past. Tasty, quick to consume, easily forgettable. This one checks all the boxes in Sandford's plot elements and would be a good airplane or beach book.
