I haven't read this author before I did like the book, her style and the story. Sheila Travis has just started working at an "elite school of diplomacy". Only a fews at the job and she and her several students find the dead body of a beautiful woman. Sheila has the reputation of being an amateur sleuth that does not endear her to Chicago police. Sheila and her eccentric Aunt Mary try their best to convince the investigating officer to look at all the suspects, not just the one he is convinced did it. Ms. Sprinkle does a great job developing Sheila's character and those of the other key players in her book; so much so that I am eager to find more of them.
