I LOVED this book. Which is strange, because I can say this is one book that I loved, yet never grew to like the heroine (Summer). Usually thats a dealbreaker for me, if I can't begin to like the heroine pretty early on, I usually put the book down and never look back. but the Hero, Joe is sooo good, I don't mind that Summer pretty much sucked.
Everything that Jill Shalvis writes is pretty great, this being "up there" with my favorites from her. Beyond the romance and sexiness the storyline was good, and kept my attention. The history was consistent and non-confusing. The suspense was well written and actually kept me guessing...big plus!
Again, the star of this show is Joe to me this is HIS story, not Summer's even though it's written as her story. If your looking for a good quick satisfying read, this does not disappoint!
