I hadn't read one of the Oregon Files novels for a while. I always enjoy these books and am not sure why it took me so long to get to this one (I have had it on my shelves for over three years). Anyway, this one did not disappoint and was pretty much non-stop action from start to finish. The novel goes from a rescue of a young boy from terrorists in Afghanistan to another supposed rescue of a young woman in the jungles of Myanmar (Burma). And then on to a vast security threat to the U.S. by a megalomaniac Islam terrorist. There are several good twists in the storyline and all is not as it first seems but of course, Juan Cabrillo and his team from the Oregon save the day as usual! A good one!
