Anyone who has fallen under the spell of the hummingbird will treasure this lovable true story of a young ruby-throated hummingbird who becomes part of someone's household and life. 57 full-color photographs; 10 black-and-white drawings.

A related book that I have on my bookshelf is Robby. This is an excellent book. I could not put it down until I finished it. Robby was a baby Robin That the author raised. Robins are must more intelligent than I had thought, because this robin came back for 26 years and remembered the author. There are bright color photographs of Robby and his bright blue eggs and babies. The author must have kept a journal and has a respect for all of God's creatures. She is an excellent writer.I learned habits, habitats and facts that I never knew before about animals. This is an excellent, but quick read. This is a beautiful book.
