This book was a little too over written for a YA Action book. There was so much word building and so much detail to things that really didn't matter. The main character who's pov the story is told in seemed to ramble on for no reason. Has this been a General Fiction book it might have been useful info to the story but when youre just reading and waiting for the action to start it's just boring. I'm not sure if it was done because it is a first book or just how the writer writes. You open the book with an action scene then have another in the middle of the book then in the last 50 pages its pretty much all action but between the action scenes its Blah Blah Blah most of it boring.

I will probably pick up the second in the series just to see how it is if its boring I wont finish it. : )
