I'm sad to say that this is by far my least favorit book in the Black Dagger Brotherhood series. Do not get me wrong it is not a âbad bookâ (I still finished it in about a day) it just not as good as the others.
I do not think the story line runs as smoothly in this book as it has in earlier ones but it is still well worth the time read it as it explains a lot about who Vishous is and how he became that way. It also gives us a deeper introduction of John Matthew who I think has the potential to become one of the best characters of the series in the future. This book also sets the stage for the following book, which will follow Phury so you gotta read it.
