As you read you can feel his inner conflict, from his indoctrination and isolated upbringing, to a college student surrounded by diversity. He befriends a Hispanic and two Jewish students, and from there you know what the outcome will be. It is his journey that brings so much hope and redemption.
I highly recommend this book. You won't soon forget it.
