Originally received this used book here at PBS. This book is paperback size (unlike the rest of Gould's books). The guy who had it before me must have used it in a college class, as there is highlighting throughout. Five star book: learn evolution is a bush not a ladder, how a clam can mount a fish on its rear end, the Irish Elk, the continental drift theory, abd talks about why we should not name races and the politics that run the world. Pretty heady material, worth the read if you are a Gould fan, love Natural History or are curious about Evolutionary Theories. The picture (P105) of the clam with the fish attached is worth the free book.
