Back of book says: How fast can you get dinner on the table? 45 minutes? Half an hour? Cooking To Beat The Clock cuts that time to 15 minutes, start to finish. No kidding, no catch! If you have 15 minutes you can put a delicious dinner on the table.
I say: If your a beginning cook, learning the techniques will add a bit of time to that 15 minutes. But - indeed - these recipes (if you have the ingredients on hand) and meal plans are fast, attractive, international, and delicious. Sample of the recipes: Steak Diane with Parslied Potatoes; Pork Medallions with Cidr and mashed Sweet Potatoes; Quick Cassoulet [polish sausage, beans, etc., quickly cooked in frying pan - yummie]; Bouillabaisse; Jambalaya; Spaghetti Bolognese.
