This book has been on my TBR pile forever now. I finally picked it up to read it and I wonder why I waited so long! A great story. I know that I am not going to give this book justice in my review.
The earth has been invaded by aliens who are described as parasites since they inhabit human hosts. Once this happens, they are in control of the body. Melanie has one of these hosts inside her, she is called the Wanderer. Melanie however is not giving up so easily and fights the Wanderer. The Wanderer has been on other worlds, and the earth is the newest. She is trying to get used to her new body, and human emotions while she is exploring this new world.
As they both deal with this situation, they both learn about each other and themselves, and what it truly means to be human. I will warn you, you will need a tissue for parts of this book. I highly recommend it!
