Book Review of Death Waxed Over (Candlemaking, Bk 3)

Death Waxed Over (Candlemaking, Bk 3)

Excerpted from a letter to Mr. Myers:

I want to thank you. I've enjoyed mystery stories over the years; but, a few years ago I stopped reading them because of gruesome details, bad language, and intimate details that should have been left out. Your books were recommended to me as "cozy" mysteries. I couldn't be more delighted.

There is a depth in your characters that draws me into the story. I love that Mr. Black is a bit fumbling and bumbling, much like most of us would be in similar situations. I also like the fact that you drop clues throughout the book that lead to the killer. It is so satisfying to try to figure out "who done it"; and then, in the end find that I was right (or wrong). ~smile~

Thank you for writing stories that don't require me to put my Christian life on hold, so to speak, in order to enjoy a good book.
