I liked this book, but several of my friends did not. I didn't see the movie, but apparently it's NOTHING like the movie. It's basically a memoir of her time as she and her boyfriend buy a house in Tuscany. It provides a great description of Italian food and the countryside. It's got several recipes included and is sometimes sold in the travel section of book stores.
