He self-abridged the book for the CD, so he left out chapters on Hong Kong, Falklands, Bermuda and the British Caribbean. The more obscure the better, in his editing decisions. He only included Diego Garcia, Tristan de Cuehna, Gibralter, Ascension, and St. Helena, and unless I was asleep at the wheel when he read it (a possibility, I was driving pretty straight roads sometimes) he skipped the part where he was imprisoned for 3 months by the authorities, which was in the original book (well, I guess you might want to edit that out).
He's an old curmudgeon about almost everything, that got tiring when you are listening straight through, he is at his best when his droll humor kicks in describing Americans trying to buy islands and other absurdities.
