This is classic Catherine Anderson. It's a very emotional read.
For Laura Townsend the chance to once again have a "real" job would be a dream come true. Five years earlier a swimming accident left her with aphasia, and now even simple things like writing, reading, and speaking are daily challenges. Forced to give up her job as an environmental scientist, Laura supports herself by doing a variety of odd jobs, including dog walking, so she eagerly embraces the chance to become a kennel keeper. Veterinarian Isaiah Coulter actually agrees to interview Laura as a favor to his mother, but once he meets her and sees just how good she is with animals, he hires her, never expecting that he may have found more than a new kennel keeper. A quietly courageous heroine takes a chance at life and love in the latest installment in Anderson's Coulter family series.
