Dark and edgy with complex characters and beautifully written prose. I was immersed from the first page. This writer has won back to back Edgar Awards and I've been a devoted fan since I read King of Lies. This book is darker, and takes you to a different level from his other books. I loved it and it made me want to know more about Michael, the MC. I finished it days ago, and still can't stop thinking about it....highly recommend.
