I found this one to be more simplistic than her others. And like another reviewer, I wish Bernie's family had taken up less space in the book. And, despite being male, I determined very early on what Bernie's personal problem was, which wasn't revealed until the very end of the book.

As for the criminals, once again we can fall back on Kipling's "The female of the species is more deadly than the male."
