This is a great book on learning the bookkeeping required for animation. However the author is a bit of a "cartoon nazi" who holds everyone to impossible standards and suggests that the ability to animate is inherit and cannot truely be taught. If you have a lot of artistic talent and would like to learn the mechanics of the industry this is a good place to start. If however you are trying to learn the artistic bent of animation or even the methods of drawing animation, I would look elesewhere.
